Unnatural Selection: The Age of Planned People

I got invited to speak on a panel at the 2018 WebSummit in Lisbon about the ways we’re re-crafting the human body with technology. Though it’s easy to get scared of all the ways tech can go horribly wrong, we forget how much tech we already incorporate on a daily basis. Glasses, wheelchairs and hearing aids are all technologies that help extend the human body’s capabilities. But just because we can build something, doesn’t mean we should.
